what i'm hearing

florence does drake & no fucking way

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggKwTvDHfHk&feature=player_embedded

i saw this on the interweb today, i doubt it's real.. but imagine.

happy friday!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggKwTvDHfHk&feature=player_embedded

(i got a new job! AND i'll post watch the throne pictures/videos when i have a second!)

tomorrow i'll be watchin' the throne.

jay z and kanye fuckin' west. i can't sleep, not because of excitement.. i figure i drank (i originally typed in"drake" ....guess he's on my mind) too much coffee tonight at work. i cleaned, i did my nails, i packed, i had a bath, i smoked a bowl and yet nothing is helping. i put on Amnesiac because usually this album calms me down/puts me in a state of mind where i feel like i'm floating away to another world,  and even THAT isn't doing the trick. i have lots on my mind i suppose. i cannot stop thinking about how badly i want those Feist tickets for her show next week in Toronto. nothing is available in my price range, so it looks like i might just be spending a pretty penny. it's okay though, she's worth it.

the new TKOL rmx8 tracks that were released this week are GREAT. jamie xx is everywhere it seems.
this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMnh5Tn8aeM is fantastic. my friend mike has got me into asap rocky, and i'm really into faltyDL & bibio at the moment! i don't know what else to share!
i'm happy. i hope nothing changes that.

happy wednesday : )

i'm sure i've posted this already, but it's worth reposting because you will laugh, again, really hard.

christmas purse - 5$ talize

i think i'm going to host a christmas party this year, everyone has to dress up & i'll make cute & delicious  treats. this gave me the idea: http://www.designsponge.com/2011/09/in-the-kitchen-with-alexis-and-courtneys-chai-tea-smores.html

does anyone else laugh at the first 1:40 of "shot for me"? GREAT song though. i love this album. bravo drizzy!

“I’m really scared for my generation, you know. The thing that scares me most is Tumblr. I hate what Tumblr has become. Because it like, it reminds me of those clique-y girls in high school that used to make fun of everyone else and define what was cool, but in five years, when you all graduate, that shit doesn’t matter. No one gives a fuck about that shit. Instead of kids going out and making their own moments, they’re just taking these images and living vicariously through other people’s moments. It just kills me. Then you’ll meet them and they’re just the biggest turkey in the world. They don’t actually embody any of those things. They just emulate. It’s scary man, simulation life that we’re living. It scares me.”

-Drake

doing it wrong
